Default Cancel pre-ordering?

Does anyone know if I can get my money back by canceling my EBGames pre-order?
Thank you.

Probably, but the best way to know is to go to the store (or call) and ask. You never know, sometimes these stores can be a pain when it comes to returns and cancellations

I read on the EBGames website that no, you cannot. It has something to do with the bonus disc you should have received and the beta key you got. You can't just take those and then get your money back.

Sorry!

Sucks that you feel that strongly about the stupid community in the game.

the website says if they shipped you the pre-order package, you cannot cancel the order.

however, if you pre-ordered in the store, you can most likely put your deposit towards something else.

I preordered in store, yes.
However I suppose I posted this on impulse: playing through the same level 8 times straight is not really fun, you know what I mean.
I suppose after a little time I'll find friends in GW to play the game with them.
Thanks, though .

I have had the best experiance playing with friends, with a good friend I have played several times, and we have had fun. With another friend ( who is probably on these forums ) I only played once, and had a bad experiance, my fault. But then several times I have met up with someone for the whole day, going through missions, exploring, etc, and played with them the next day too.

i ussually have trouble finding friends in these type of games (MMORPGS) because ussually it's just you hook up with a party get what needs to be done done and there really isn't much else like communication wise and such... i guess this is different because it strives on teamwork

Well Just keep posting on these forums! You'll get tons of friends this way..

I can't even tell you how many times I would go to LA, and suddenly see someone I know from the one of the fansite forums. It's frightening, actually.

I think it would be helpful if on the forums people put their character names somewhere ( I know there is a stick somewhere) But maybe in their signature or something?

If people were going to post their character names, it should probably go into this thread when they first arrive. I forget if I did or not, but it doesn't make a big difference with me, since my character name is my name on this forum

I'm sure that if you played the game a little more, you'd enjoy it. It does kind of suck how some stores are with returning games though, but this game is by far the best I've played. I have a few friends that also preordered the game, so having them around will make it more fun, but I've also met a few people from around the world that are also fun to play with. The most fun I get out of this game is when I find a group of fun, genuinly kind people to play with. I have also created a guild, and just like in real life, I've made the goal of my guild to help other people. We do duel once in a while aswell just because the competition is always fun. Anyway I'll stop now before I write you a novel lol.

Have a good one

You aren't gonna play now?

Well, hopefully you've changed your mind now that you have an old buddy to play with.

Yes, this thread is ancient. I posted it after I had some terrible time playing a single mission 8 times straight. The following BWE went rather fine.

Was it Gates of Kryta?

You need a group that knows what there doing to beat that mission.

I swear, if it didnt lead to lions arc, then the player should get 3000 EXP.

Ah, ok. I didn't realize how old the thread was, but it was still on the 1st page.
